New York, NY – (October 7, 2013) – When the sun sets on this year’s New York Business Expo and Conference with its impressive line-up of keynotes, seminars, exhibitors’ booths and presentations, there’s more business opportunities and fun to be had at the NY City-wide Chamber of Commerce Matchup.
Taking place 4:30p.m. – 7:30p.m on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Jacob K. Javits in Manhattan, immediately following NYXPO, the “after-hours” event, which will leverage the innovative match-making technology of the herematch app, available to download on smartphones (www.herematch.com), is helping businesses make meaningful connections to businesses with service, support and the potential customers they want. After filling out a profile and checking into the event, the app will provide a list of recommended guests also in attendance. Matches are based on services needed, interests, association memberships, school affiliations and even hometowns.

The Matchup event is being hosted by New York City’s five borough chambers: Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Queens Chamber of Commerce, Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, and Bronx Chamber of Commerce, and is the first opportunity of its kind to be held at NYXPO.

Pre-registration for NY City-wide Chamber of Commerce Matchup is free; $10 at the door. Attendees must download the app and check-in at the event in order to participate. The event will feature complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
