Darren Carter, MD took the road less traveled to his position as Principal at NYC SEM, a Google Certified Partner. After becoming a licensed physician, he decided not practice medicine and started an ecommerce and software development company. As he grew the company, he realized his passion lay in paid digital advertising, a discipline that combined the fun of creating unique marketing messages with the satisfaction of measuring the results. After he sold his prior company, he started NYC SEM to help other businesses find success with pay-per-click advertising.
