New York, NY – (September 4, 2013) – The Ninth Annual New York Business Expo & Conference (NYXPO) is again expected to draw more than 10,000 business owners and executives to a full day of exhibits, educational seminars and unlimited networking. The largest and most comprehensive business conference in the Northeast, NYXPO will take place from 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.

The New York Business Expo & Conference is free to attend, (pre-registration required at www.newyorkbusinessexpo.com), and will feature hundreds of exhibitors and over 40 educational seminars with topics that include sales strategies, business growth and development, marketing and advertising, startups and entrepreneurship, technology and time management.

“The show is a great opportunity for attendees to connect with key decision makers,” said Marc Sherer, President of Event Management. “Last year 60% of our attendees were business owners and with our 2013 line-up that includes even more networking opportunities and unique educational seminars, we expect to see that number increase.”

NYXPO will once again feature the popular Cyber Café and Social Media Lab, both sponsored by Time Warner Cable Business Class.  The Cyber Café, centrally located on the XPO show floor, is an interactive lounge offering a chance to relax, network and check up on emails on the “big screen” at one of the Cafe’s ten internet-ready computers. The Social Media Lab, powered by Progressive Computing, will showcase experts in several social media platforms who will provide 20-minute demonstrations and participate in Q&A sessions throughout the day, all free to NYXPO attendees and exhibitors.

New for 2013, the NYXPO is partnering with Social, Mobile, Analytics & Content for the #SMAC Summit 2013 which features Teachers NOT Speakers™, a digital communications learning environment for small business owners, media enthusiasts and entrepreneurs. The #SMAC offerings include a mix of learning sessions that place an emphasis on facts, data, tactics and method. The Summit’s exclusive seminars are available to NYXPO attendees who purchase upgraded tickets.

The 2013 New York Business Expo & Conference is presented by Time Warner Cable Business Class and is supported by the Better Business Bureau, Constant Contact, Flushing Bank, Marketecture, Microsoft, NVO, Empire State Development, the 5 Borough Chambers of Commerce, many more business development organizations, and marketing partner Co-Communications, Inc.
